INJURY NEWS Wednesday Night
Carmelo Anthony questionable. JR Smith and Tim Hardaway Jr would get a bump.
Joakim Noah OUT. Taj Gibson is probable, and he’d be a great value play in a starting role. Nikola Mirotic would likely see a minutes increase as well.
Nene Hilario questionable. If he can’t go, Kris Humphries would become a solid value play against Orlando’s soft front court.
Nikola Vucevic questionable. It’s an early tip in Washington, so we should receive word before lineups lock. You can consider Kyle O’Quinn if Vucevic sits…Tobias Harris would see a bump as well.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist IN. Missed the past several weeks. Perhaps it’s best to take a “wait and see approach” in terms of his minutes/production.
Alexey Shved IN. Dampens MCW’s upside slightly.
Tony Wroten upgraded to GTD. KJ McDaniels value would take a hit if he plays.
Joe Johnson OUT. Minutes distributed between Alan Anderson, Jarrett Jack, and Bojan Bogandovic…tough to pinpoint value for DFS purposes.
Mirza Teletovic questionable. If he goes, he’ll likely see adequate minutes with Johnson/Lopez out.
Brook Lopez OUT. Look for Teletovic to be one of the bigger beneficiaries (if he plays), otherwise Mason Plumlee would get some extended run (depending on BKN’s lineup configuration).
Mo Williams questionable. If he can’t go, Zach LaVine enters the value conversation.
Tony Parker questionable. Cory Joseph would man the PG position, although he didn’t do much last night.
Spurs on the second half of back-to-back. Keep an eye out to see if Popovich will rest Duncan/Parker/and, or Ginobili.
Kenneth Faried questionable. Hickson and Arthur have split time in his stead, but neither has broken through to consider for DFS. Timofey Mozgov would get a bump with a tighter frontcourt rotation.
JaVale McGee questionable. If he and Faried can’t go, Mozgov becomes more solidified.
Dwight Howard doubtful.
James Harden questionable. If he can’t go, Jason Terry would likely start, making for a great SG value play.
Isaiah Canaan OUT. Patrick Beverley and Jason Terry will man the PG spot.
Francisco Garcia doubtful. This helps solidify Terry’s playing time at SG…especially in the event that Harden sits tonight.
Kostas Papanikolau OUT. I’m assuming this opens up more minutes for Donatas Motiejunas, given they were splitting time in Dwight Howard’s absence.
Andrew Bogut questionable. Returned last game after sustaining the injury, so not thought of as serious. Golden State may be conservative with his minutes though…bump up Draymond Green/Speights if he can’t go (or is limited).
David Lee OUT. Draymond Green remains a viable DFS play

Lineup Configuration Advice for Fan Duel Wednesday Night
PG – With the news that Alexey Shved will play (and Tony Wroten GTD),
Michael Carter-Williams is downgraded from borderline cash option to strictly a tournament play … Ty Lawson is a higher-end option I’d feel more comfortable with for cash games considering a great matchup with Miami .. Kemba Walker and Jeff Teague are the best mid-range picks on the board, as they both have great matchups playing up in pace. If I had to pick between the two, I’d roll with Teague, but it may not be a bad strategy to click both of them into your lineup … From the value menu, Zach LaVine would be a preferred option if Mo Williams sat out, while Cory Joseph is more of a speculative play even if Tony Parker sits.
SG – Jimmy Butler is the high-end option I have the most faith in. I was considering Dwyane Wade, but playing on the 2nd half of a back-to-back has me concerned … Tyreke Evans is one of my favorite “per dollar” plays at the position, and I’d feel comfortable locking him into majority of my lineups considering the nice price point and match up … From here, Wesley Matthews and Kyle Korver are decent cash game fillers, but the blowout factor looms over both … Jason Terry is a preferred value selection, as he’ll likely have to log heavy minutes for the injury-plagued Rockets once again … JR Smith would enter the value conversation if Carmelo Anthony sat, even though the matchup isn’t ideal.
SF – Draymond Green is in a nice situation vs Houston, but the rising price point is difficult to work in … Kawhi Leonard is in the same category, and I wouldn’t be afraid to pull the trigger for cash games, although I don’t find him a foundation price to lineups … Chandler Parsons is more of a foundation piece than anyone at this position, as his salary is still modest despite the surging production (great match up too) … KJ McDaniels has been steady as of late, but with Tony Wroten possibly returning, that could cut his production … Corey Brewer is a good cash game filler, and his upside would rise considerably if Mo Williams were ruled out .. Robert Covington has eraned a larger spot in the rotation, but I’m curious to see how the return of Shved/Wroten may impact his minutes/attempts.
PF – LaMarcus Aldridge is a great play against the Timberwolves, even when considering the blowout factor … However, Paul Millsap is the PF I’m targeting most with a great draw vs Philly … Pau Gasol could be another solid cash game pick, especially considering he could take on added responsibility with Noah out … Speaking of which, Taj Gibson is listed as probable, and he’s set to take Noah’s place in the starting lineup. IF we get confirmation that he’s a full-go, I’ll be targeting his mid-range salary for majority of my lineups … Kris Humphries would once again be a great option for all formats if Nene missed another game.
C – Chris Bosh has another great matchup, and he’s playable in all formats … Al Horford’s production has been up and down, but the matchup vs Philly warrant consideration … Timofey Mozgov would become more attractive if Faried and McGee sat, then you can safely consider him for cash games … Othrerwise, Omer Asik is a safe mid-range pick, but Tyler Zeller could represent better value at $4,100.
